And another edition of my ... er, 'famous' Flavpastasauce. Won't give it any name as it would make my Italian friends (real Italians as opposed to myself) twitch and throw rocks at me. It involved garlic, tomatoes, various hot pepper things, quorn mince, the remains of a mushroom pate from Borough Market plus some dried porcini, basil, oregano and a few other things -it was delicious and it will be even better tomorrow.
A pupil was very late for his lesson so ended up finishing at some point after 10:00. At that point decided to make dinner. So, what to do.... ok, put some chorizo sausage from the local butcher, garlic, potatoes and olive oil, salt and pepper and quite a bit of rosemary (and a little bit of oregano) in an oven dish, stick it in the oven for the duration of three rounds of Bach Chaconne's arpeggios plus a few chromatic scales. It works!
