Went to give [livejournal.com profile] nounou and Jasper a hand with moving stuff from scary neighbourhood in Hackney to dilapidated nice building off the Edgware Road. Then we went for beers at local old men's pub and lebanese sandwiches at midnight in Beirut Express. Interesting to see the street night life in that area, feels like a different country (Mahab sniggered when I said this).

Today, lots of lessons here and in Watford -which is not a bad thing, I badly need the money, except that for various reasons didn't sleep much or well. And, tonight, ST-D

Well, as you know i was living in that area for a while, and while its etnic majority might be interesting from some points of view, they look at us as we are from Mars or something. And they treat us as like weirdos. Something you probably dont notice if you just go there once, but it gets to you if you go to the shops everyday. As bad as Camden is, is 1000 times more welcoming than there. But thats just me talking...
