I'm not a morning person. At this point, 6:30 am, have been up for an hour and a quarter and awake for over two. Will have slept four hours, have a long teaching day ahead of me.

Week end was good. On Saturday it was [profile] kajia's (link will prob. not work, it's an LJ account) Hallowe'en/birthday party. I played a short guitar recital -a few short pieces by the Cuban composer Leo Brouwer, about a third of Bach's Chaconne up to the first cadence before the major section and, perhaps a little more appropriate for the time of year, Nikita Koshkin's 'Usher Waltz', after the horror story by Edgar Allan Poe, 'The Fall of the House of Usher' (link to me playing a small excerpt of it , here).

Will be playing at the Kentish Town City Farm on the 30th of November.... still haven't finished deciding on the programme -will certainly play the Koshkin.

Right, now to go out and face that long day. Good morning!
