A few pictures from the last few days:
- Alexander's Birthday drinks at the Greenwich Union

- the Dev on Saturday night (no special occasion)

These are Facebook albums. Will probably repost somewhere else later.

ION, went to the Slimes on Saturday and, actually, had a very good time (no, really). It was good to see [livejournal.com profile] transylviania, even though we didn't talk long at all. It'd been a few years!

Finally, Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] bathory66!! (although she doesn't seem to appear around lj-land very much these days, so might not see this..)

.. have an excellent one! (or two, or five, or...)

Will see at least one of you later. Probably the one who's not in Switzerland at the moment....

Sunny morning out there. Is the spring finally here, then? Or do we have snow again next week?

I must be getting old. The Tuesdays marathon (being up at 6:00 am, driving to Watford at 7:00 and staying there all day till 9:00 pm) is beginning to get to me. Every week it seems to take me a little longer to recover. Last night I was completely shattered still. Was thinking of going to [livejournal.com profile] magenta_luxx 's and [livejournal.com profile] kaerasta's gig but when I got back home from teaching I just collapsed.

On the way home I stopped at the Dev for a minute. Literally. There was not a soul I knew there, staff included. The times, they are a'changed, I s'pose.

Last night was a very good night, or two: Firstly, there was the Lovecraft night at the Dev, which was good if a bit packed. Was straining hard to hear Patricia's piece on Lovecraft but between the sound system producing almost constant feedback and rumble, and the audience not paying any attention but carrying out their conversations louder still (to overcome the sound system, I suppose -but this is a pub, I suppose; you can't expect otherwise), it was a bit difficult to follow the thread. Would like to see a transcription. Robyn said they were filming it, which would be good but wouldn't take away the difficult sound.

Then I moved to Quinn's for [livejournal.com profile] mark13's birthday drinks, in excellent company, too many to list. Photographic evidence will follow later today. I will gratefully accept bribes for the removal of embarrassing pictures :P
