The previous couple of days had been a bit manic and in many small ways frustrating and maddening. Not the sort of big problem that makes you shake your fist at the sky whilst cursing the gods, just many small annoyances building up, like having to deal with awkward people and.. setting out for lessons on Tuesday evening and find the car is completely dead as a dodo, battery so dead that the clock and the radio have lost their settings. So I have to cancel one lesson, go to the other one, come back, call the RAC and be told that they'll be with me by midnight -have to get up at 5:30 am the next day. Said yes, anyway as any other alternative was going to be worse. Then went to Satuma, the excellent local Japanese restaurant where I had a lovely sushi. Thomas, the owner, asked me whether I would like to play something (as I was coming back from teaching and had a guitar with me). I wouldn't! I was so tired and frazzled, last thing I wanted was to play the guitar. I did, anyway, and got an applause from the staff and the customers at the only two tables occupied then. And they didn't want to accept me paying for the meal. Didn't wipe away the hassle and stress but it was nice -and lovely that it also seemed to make their evening. Every day brings a new story.

I still haven't heard you playing - do you have anything up online?

I have a couple of accounts in SoundCloud -one for classical guitar and another one for electronic doodles 'n stuff of that nature. I think the addies are in my info page.

Hi Bekki -unless there's a different Androktone around, you've been 'following' me on one of my Soundcloud accounts for a while now:) There's some music there. Not great and certainly not great recordings, but a few samples of stuff:)

Ah I don't explore Soundcloud much, I will do so forthwith!

At least your getting the car sorted before the Winter starts. You wouldn't want to break down on a motorway in February. Look at it as taking bad luck now to reap good luck in the future :)

That, indeed. Although far, far worse than broken down on motorway in February is broken down in a country lane without phone signal in February. Same applies, of course.
