25 Abandoned Communist-era Monuments that look like they came from the future....  or some possible future that never was, at any rate; slowly being eaten by the elements in former Yugoslavia. I find many of them strikingly beautiful.. and there is a kind of melancholy to them.

Those are spectacular. I'm on the abandoned places community and I have to say the Russians always have way cooler pictures than the americans!
