.. it was already one of those days.....
... Then the car broke down (only the second time it does that, but, hey, it does it big when it does..) exactly in the same spot where it did before, at the bottom of Highgate Road approaching the junction with Fortess Rd and KTR.. was going to change gear and there were no gears to change to, the gear stick just swinging there not engaging any gears.... so I coasted past the lights and it came to die a little further

silkyfish to say I might... be late for drinks since car dead, RAC membership lapsed (don't ask why) etc.. and eventually she turned up with the South Afrikan Army: dj_gassmann, untermensch and a couple of other people who helped push the car until we found a side street where it was safe to leave it. Eternally grateful flavius_m...
Means Monday is going to be even more lively than I thought it would... anyway, thanx again, guys...

I apologise for this intrusion into your journal, which I would normally consider to be private ground, and furthermore for being off-topic.
You have recently entered my own journal and verbally abused me. Now that I am in possession of some information relating to Countb's condition, I can see why you did this. I understand that you thought you were doing a good deed, and stamping out prejudice. Nonetheless, you were overzealous and incorrect. Your verbal assault on me only makes any sense if I knew about his condition before I posted, which I did not. You made an erroneous assumption about my own knowledge and intentions, and have given offense to me because of it. I freely admit, I am guilty of rashness, tactlessness, and in this case ignorance, and because of these faults I have apologised to countb, but I am not guilty of the things you acuse me of, and do not deserve the insults you have given.
I admit - I made a mistake. I regret it for it's own sake, and have apologised for it. I request that you do likewise.
