I'm quite a Waitrose convert after finding many products are as cheap and better quality than Tesco/Sainsburys.

I like Waitrose. It is a pleasant storeto shop in and after comparing the prices of essential items at Morrison's and Iceland with those at Waitrose, we discovered that they are the same or cheaper, its just that they also have more expensive things also.

In addition their ethics are better than most supermarkets. You can get a lot of British and organic produce and all their bananas are fair trade. The banana thing is important to me because as you well know that plant has been horrible for Central America for decades.

I love Waitrose! They are more ethical than other supermarkets. Marks and Spencer are doing a good job though too. I'm that sad that I did a comparison online of my typical shopping list at Waitrose and Sainsburys and there was only a few pounds in it. Definately worth it for the quality.
