not a slow day around here

Just came back home from a couple of lessons and poggs's birthday picnic. Had to go around Camden Road to get here. The whole block is cordoned off, there's about half a dozen police cars, three ambulances and a couple of cars from the Fire brigade, had to haggle a fair bit to be let through the barriers to my flat.. no, I don't know what's happened and I suspect they wouldn't care for me to ask...

An area off the roundabout between Amhurst Rd and Dalston lane was cordonned off at 7.45 last evening when 3 of us drove by. There were lots of police cars and an ambulance and they were stopping people as possible witnesses.
I am beginning to get Stab Dreams : (

Well, it's only the second incident of that sort in seven years here. In my home town there's at least thirty violent deaths every week-end -and it used to be much, much worse a cpl of years ago... on the other hand, it _is)_ a bit worrying.
