I was perhaps a little cynical this morning. He strikes me as a decent man and I do hope, though, that he does well. For all our sakes.

I agree - I think he may well fall into the rare category of a politician who actually cares.

Although he had a lot of religious elements in his inauguration, he seems like the most secular president to date. That's a good sign, I think.
