... well said but I thank Cheesus I live in a city where all that matters is that you like the footy or are at least prepared to say a cheery word about it.

I will be spending a lot of time in the pub watching the tournament on a big screen, it not mattering what colour my hair is, it is simply a question of being a fan of 'the beautiful game'!

Of 'cors. There isn't anything intrinsically violent or thuggish about foot-ball, it is just a case of certain groups wrapping themselves in it (as they also do in the British or the English flag)
