Yep, my name is Flavio I’m one of those using Twitter, sorry. And, worse, I do have Loudtwitter posting the digest of the day here on lj (but, can I claim extenuating circumstances, I do put it behind a cut so you don’t have to read it). It can be a good idea or a terrible one, giving me a flash of insight from a friend or allowing me to jot down a fleeting impression.... and also getting interminable posts on the lines of “I’m doing the washing”, “I’ve put all the clothes in”, ‘'the washing machine just finished..', 'I'm hanging the washing now...','It's nearly dry...', etc.. TBH I’m not entirely sold to the idea, although it can be interesting... at times...

Yours I don't mind, because as you say, they're behind a cut, so I just scroll on past (this is my policy on most things that are on my FL that I don't have a direct interest in).

The concept of Twitter in general annoys me though, because it encourages banality and por grammar, and restricts the ability to document one's life in creative terms.

Now if it forced every single 'tweet' to be in the form of a Haiku, that I could appreciate. :)

...and inevitably, I get a typo in the phrase 'poor grammar'. ;)

Haiku! Now there's a thought!

(Do I hear a rumble in the background, like a massed 'groan' sound...?)

Your ears have misheard
It is just a distant train
Or last night's curry
