Too early. Have to get up at 6:00 am on Tuesdays, which is bad enough if you always go to bed at 1:00 am or later. I did try, went to bed before 11:00 pm but couldn't sleep, stayed up reading until who knows when.

At 5:00 am the spin cycle of the washing machine in the kitchen downstairs started rattling my room and, of course, waking me up. Thanks ever so much, whoever here decided to do their washing in the middle of the night...

Haha , starting the laundry at 4am is my only real revenge against my horribly noisy neighbours... but seriously, I just never really thought about it and would stop doing that now as you point out it maybe being a little annoying to people ... but I really don`t like them ....

Mornin'. Must be, although it is still very dark outside. Don't like this, this should be a time for going to bed, not getting up, harrmpf harrmpf!:P

Getting ready to leave in a minute. Looks like it's one of those mornings which feature scraping ice off the windscreen and waiting at that school for pupils who don't turn up because they were more sensible than me and decided to be ill or sunfin.....

Are you still up or already up?:P

Today its still... I don`t sleep much and am an early riser ... now at work.
And yeah I saw people scrapping ice... another reason why I love my bike.
Are you getting payed when pupils don`t turn up ?

At the school (a Grammar school in Watford, Herts) yes. But of course when you don't see a pupil for several weeks in a term the chances are that he (it's a boys school) won't be in your register next term. Private teaching is a whole lot more precarious, even, but that's the nature of the beast.

I'm at the school now, waiting for a pupil (who doesn't seem to be going to turn up), connecting to internet through my phone (I don't get internet access in the school and they specifically ban livejournal anyway, apparently it is a bad, dangerous pornographic site or sunfin:P)

Early riser Nodis. I'm definitely not one...

yeah I would consider LJ as such ;p
and hehe , I`m not only an early riser, but a nearly non-sleeper ... average sleep I get is 4 hours a night. God bless the caffeine !

Gosh. I cannot function without at least six hours' sleep. Today was long and torturous. I was recalling that it was 5:00 am when I finally looked at the alarm clock (you have to press button for its light to come up). .I have no idea when the spin cycle show started, perhaps 15 min earlier.

Finally home. I would like to say that in spite of long frustrating day without enough sleep I'm perfectly awake and in full command of my faculties. Sadly, I'm not:P

LoL *bitetonguenottoslipanagecomment* ;p
Hope you can get all the needed sleep back tonight then ...

Errr... thank you.... I think .... hrrmpf, hrrmpf... :P

I always thought that you needed less sleep as you got older, not more.
