Sorry if I have missed your important posting/event/birthday, I'm mostly away in the daytime doing Jury Service, without that much net access...

It's not quite as bad as I had feared, but much, much more boring. And to have the compensation paid I need a letter from my accountant, who I cannot get hold of -I even turned up at his office in Watford yesterday, as we had been let off early, without success... so that's looking murky and bleak and I already was rather skint... anyway, not as harrowing as I thought it might be. And probably no longer than two weeks or so. All that's a bonus...

You have to produce your previous year's IR receipts or something of that nature. Which I cannot find :/ I have the bundle of paper that I gave the accountant, and his bill for the year but not any of the crucial bits....
