Haven't seen it.

From all the reviews seen here, there would seem to be a general consensus that maybe perhaps it is not really quite the greatest film ever? perhaps?

I thought it was tripe, but entertaining tripe. I guess it really depends on what you'd going there expecting.

I was expecting a movie based on a comic book; flashy, eye-candy, entertaining.

What I got was akin to watching someone's drunk father sing/dance at a wedding; excruciatingly embarrassing and confusing.

It's not that much different from the first two to be honest. I think that's the problem in that, it isn't necessarily bad, but people have seen it twice already just with different bad guys.

For instance, one criticism I've seen is about him dancing down the road. Yet in Spiderman 2 when he walks down the road to 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' that was supposedly very funny.

It's the fact that the dancing in 3 is suposedly 'evil' in some way. Yes, really. And they made Venom a gay icon.

I thought it was really boring. I nodded off twice in the movie theater and that NEVER happens. It's overlong, messy and storylines that drift on into nothingness. didn't even find the action all that engaging either.

now if you wanna see a GREAT GREAT action flick? go and see 300. my favorite film of the year! (battle scenes are mesmorising - and this coming from someone who usually hates battle scenes)

My expectations had been lowered by the mixed reviews beforehand but I didn't think it was as bad as people made out. Not as good as the first 2 for sure but still enjoyable. It was indeed too long, I think there were too many characters/villains and the action scenes were pushed too far OTT (not quite to Van Helsing levels though thankfully).

I'd heard about the dance scene beforehand and was dreading it but I didn't find it that bad after all. But then I'm a comic geek so I was probably more forgiving than many of its flaws.

Our enjoyment was mainly spoiled by annoying idiots chatting through the quieter scenes at the cinema.
