A dream

An evil, evil dream. And yet it becomes so stale when I try to recount it.....

but I feel there's possibly a good story to write there, although perhaps Lovecraft or Borges have already written it many times...

Dreams are one of my main-interests! - and curiously enough I've just had one myself I was thinking of making a LJ post about (albeit of a more peculiar than dramatic nature).

The key/core in your dark dream appears to be the guy in the bowler hat as he seems to be the bringer/messanger of the darkness - so my guess is that to start figuring it out, you need to figure out what/who he represents. Does he remind you of someone you know/have known?
(sorry, I don't mean to butt in but other's dreams awake my curiosity as much as my own do!)
