My parents were given a copy of How to Shit in the Woods in the early 90's; it's useful as well as amusing.

And the Bombproof Your Horse thing makes perfect sense to me just because I know that "bombproof" is horse-person slang for a horse that doesn't shy or spook at things. It must sound very silly indeed to other people, though.
