While the rain outside

It's 5:43 am on Thursday; November 3, 2022, I'm sipping my morning coffee trying to wake up, while the rain beats against the window. It is dark outside (of course). Much more than the cold, the short days/long nights get to me. The changing of the clocks baffles and confounds me twice a year every year. The day before the change I put the clock in the car's dashboard one hour ahead instead of behind.

Today, lessons in Watford and then one only lesson here at home. Tomorrow I have to go have an MRI scan done at the Royal Free Hospital, after a health scare last week about which I may post later on. Two smallish parties to go to this week-end.
