On a grey autumn morning..

A good morning so far. R (the human rights lawyer) had his lesson, then went to the Italian deli for olive oil, then stopped at Bean about Town for coffee and a cuddle with Charlie the Dog, a black labrador, whose owner P. the Brazilian was playing backgammon with L the South African who works at BaT. Mild, 14º so took out the guitar on that grey grey morning and played the suitable sombre Sarabande from Bach’s ‘cello suite No. 5 that Yo Yo Ma was playing last Saturday at the 100th anniversary of the end of the war in Paris (with mention of Trump’s bored dozing face while YYM was playing) while Charlie was looking at me trying to figure out what I was doing with that box and making sounds… a good morning, so far. Now at home waiting for a new pupil to arrive.
