various things in flavlife in the last few days

The Anti-Valentine Day gathering at the Big Red summoned by the friend formerly known as sinbadsilk was a resounding success. Far more people than I (or the organiser) would have anticipated. Particularly good to catch up with robot_mel and beluosus. Lots of people I didn't get much chance to talk, like erming and sheridanwilde.

The rest of the week-end was a bit quieter. Apart from the lovely party at Laura (Laura Bizarrelove on Facebook, nklj), where larspetersen and poggs were spotted, along with other peeps, playing bizarre card and board games.

Half term this week, which means I didn't have to get up at beastly hours on Monday and, particularly, on Tuesday. I enjoyed that.

Lots of introspective and other stuff taking place inside my head and outside in the world which we don't need to get into in here.

Tonight, going for dinner with my friend and pupil Jay across the road to Queen of Sheba. Should be good, I like that place and their food.
