Saturday evening

Ok, so I no longer can party in the way I never was used to in the first place.. :P. In any case, yesterday was much busier and full of things than I anticipated. After just one morning lesson here I went to the town centre to get a couple of computer bits I needed. Didn't get them, but had a nice stroll at the British Museum. A friend texted, did I want to meet her in Borough Market. Of course I did; we had coffee and cake at The Roast and put the world to rights while looking at the very busy market life below, then wandered around, occasionally buying bits of cheese and cake that I absolutely had no need for, but hey..

In the evening it was Mr jackdiablo's birthday, upstairs at the Zeppelin Shelter, a lovely gathering of friends to celebrate Jeff's big birthday (pics to follow). Then on to Reptile and Scott's (WNLJ?) birthday, which again was good. And I somehow ended up at the Slimelight, where I had a good time, caught up with some people I hadn't seen in a while and danced a bit. Made it back home at about 5:00 am. Still don't like night buses but can't afford taxis. There's the reason why I often drive to those things, even at the cost of not being able to drink.

Today should be a more relaxed day...
