... is there any picnic action taking place? It must be picnic season already (I know it’s only April ...)

Went to Club Distraction last night. Had fun, danced. Not bad although the topology (or is it topography?) of the place felt a little bit awkward. My experience of it seems to have been different to barbedwiredkiss’s; I quite liked the music and danced quite a bit to the thump-thump he hated. A few lovely people in attendance, amongst whom combat_kitten, elijahtc, mr_eleganza and cloudgirl.
