Russian roulette?

So, I see LJ has been bought by Russian people apparently associated with the Kremlin. When we were 'voting for the Leader' on Saturday I didn't think I was voting for that leader ...:P ... I wonder whether it is a good or a bad thing, or neither. I have seen both points of view expressed. I suspect that at least in the short term nothing will change much really. Then, we'll see whether we have to move to MySpac* Facebook (shock, horror!). No, I don't really think so.
