This seems to be another October day, today, only warmer. I have some memory of July being mostly cloudy and rainy when I first came here twenty years ago, but then I was coming from Venezuela and Caribbean weather was still what seemed natural to me. Maybe. I don't remember a July like this in recent years, though -or have I developed selective memory, as well increased my absent-mindedness? The summons for Jury service does have a date and a place. I read it any number of times the day it arrived and failed to see that. iI think I was in shock...
