post-hallowe'en

I don't like this getting dark early thing. I don't much like the messing around with the clocks twice a year; after nearly twenty years here it still catches me every time.

Didn't do much for Hallowe'en, other than teaching from 8 till 8. When I finally made it back I went to the Dev with the intention of staying there for a drink and then going to Dead And Buried's Halloween party at the Purple Turtle. Never made it there, got engrossed in conversation with andyravensable and his friend, the time passed.... and I was knackered. Pity, from every report I 've seen it seems like it was a cracking night.

It seems like there are lots of interesting things happening on Friday, as many again on Saturday. I'll most likely go to maddiekat's party if I'm not dying; there seems to be another one at Ground Zero for Alex's b'day and I'll surely go to that as well.

Ah, yes, one more thing:
