Diaspora

For what it's worth (and at the moment that's not a lot but you never know), I'm on Diaspora.

I'm at http://diasp.org/people/4cf1483fec26e20cb4000293 or fflavio@diasp.org (which is a little easier to remember or copy). It doesn't look like it's going to break Facebook any time soon and at this point (only alpha testing) there isn't much and you can hear the tumbleweeds  but, hey, who knows.

Just goes to show how much I know, I immediately thought Diaspora was some kind of drug! I was wondering what illness had befallen you... only to find out it's some kind of social networking site!

Heh. Not a drug, no. That'd be more fun, although illness would not be.

It's supposed to be an open source facebook-type thing with better privacy and without Zuckerberg. But at the moment it's in alpha so not much happening and hardly anybody in it, as yet.
