Only one more (half) day here, then it's back home to Blighty. Still the flat situation is not entirely resolved, but it does look a little better than I feared when I decided to come over. Seen many friends, partied a bit (mostly in quiet ways, in people's houses -there is no force in the universe that would force me into one of those clubs that play reggeton), burnt myself to cinders in a remote beach (which was rather well attended, bearing in mind that you can only get there by boat). Next time I must investigate about sun-blockers while still out there.

One thing that is both good and bad is that I may have to come back later in the year, probably October (as I would have to buy an off-season plane ticket).

iIt's 6:46 AM here. Five and a half hours' difference. I expect I may have some sleep pattern problems for a few days, when I'm back...

I always have to watch out when I go home to NZ - living in a country that has a peak UV level of 6-7 does not prepare you for somewhere that tends to be 11+ whenever it isn't cloudy. At 11+ intensity, unprotected skin burns in 15 minutes.

Well, now I'm back, and instead of legs I have two boiled legs of ham, and very painful it is too. All that tramping around and then the journey back. If it still looks like this tomorrow I may have to go to a doctor or sumfin.

I was applying sunblocker and trying to stay in the shade but couldn't get completely in the shade..

Estoy de regreso, muy tullido despues del viaje con las piernas muy quemadas e inflamadas, me estan saliendo ampollas en una asi que sospechoo que voy a tener que ir a doctor u hospital tumorro.

Si, tengo el encargto de odisea (que esta blanca, pura y fina cual flor cristalina...). Eran exactamente cinco, no?

Creo que no voy a poder hacer mucho en el proximo par de dias, eso si. Estoy muy tullido.
