.. it seems to be m0rbid_princess's birthday, happy birthday!

It is also the Day of the Innocents, commemorating the slaughter of the babies in Judea by Herod (I think it was). For some perverse reason, it has become in my part of the world the equivalent of April Fools' Day here: this is the day when you expect people to play pranks and silly jokes on you. There seems to be something about this (although in Mexico, not Venezuela), here.

I may have mentioned this before, and you may know most of this already, but it's also the source material for one of my favourite carols.

Picture singing this in a crowded shopping centre full of screaming brats while their parents go "Oh, carols! iIsn't this lovely and festive!"

Further proof that people can't actually understand what the choir are singing... ;)
