my turn, after all

 In bed with some cold or flu. Don't want to over-dramatise it, of course, so I won't mention the racking cough, the terrible pain, the awful incidental background music... oh, ok, only one out of those  three although perhaps I could write the awful music soundtrack.

It means I won't be going to the Bleak Christmas Dinner and Carol yodeling tonight, shame. I might also have to cancel my teaching day in school tomorrow; we'll see how that plays.
