It's really horrible out there. Horizontal rain and gusts of howling wind. Lovely.

Maybe I won't be going out for breakfast, then:P

such a shame - the people upstairs were moving out - filling a van during the worst part of it - when the thunder rumbled and the rain was bouncing vertically back up off the road. eugh

I did go out for breakfast in the end, to Mamma Mia and their salmon and egg brekkie. Then the sun came out for a while, but now the sky is again battleship gray and threatening rain. Have to go out for one, maybe two lessons but will probably retreat to my nest as soon as.

My sunday is going beautifully. R has been marinading lamb shanks in wine for 4 days - it's in the oven now. And I'm making a cider fruit cake for tea. Glomping around like a teenager in leggins and an oversized Sisters hoodie. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
