Living

Oh, I like the new flat.

I'm not happy about the stupid parking situation (no car allowed, basically) but that issue aside, it is good to live in an almost civilised way. Or at least to be in my own space, small as it is 'n all but comfortable, warm and with everything working. I likes.

Yay flat!
Any luck with the carpark though, other than finding on-street parking in a neighbouring block?

No luck. There will be no on-street parking for me, that's the crux of the problem as Camden will not be giving me a parking permit at the new address, which turned out to be a 'car-free' development and the only exceptions, I'm told, are disabled permits but I don't think I'm at that point yet!

Still looking.

Oh, ok; I think you meant off-street parking in a neighbouring block. I'm looking into that, there seemed to be a possibility for a friend of a friend who has a flat in Fortess Rd (and space that goes with it) but they're renting it to a shop as the people in the shops are not getting business parking permits either.

I vote this too.
Yay for your own space and no psycho flatmates!

Fortress Road? That rings a bell from a few decades back...
