Oof

It took me five minutes or so to put my trousers on. I don't think I'd ever sun-burnt so badly. And that was me putting sun-blocker on, hiding in the shade... managed not to burn my back but my legs are very red and very swollen. I should rest but the woman who's been living in my flat is supposed (supposed) to hand it over today so have to head over there now.

Ooff.. beach was very good, you can only reach it by sea and the frantic mad boat race trip there on the boat was a whole lot of fun. But today it's pay-back time.. it's teh ouch today..

Never underestimate the power of aftersun, get yourself some Nivea or similar and just plaster it on. Am insanely jealous of your South American adventure; I'll have to wait to post my pics from Borneo in Sept to get my own back!

I'm doing that and today although still red and swollen it is a lot less than yesterday and i no longer have elephants' legs. The problem was, I had (still have) quite a bit to do so couldn't stop and get a proper rest.

Borneo! Wow! Well, my Venezuelan excursion wasn't really going to be a holiday, I had stuff to sort out here but I did get a fair bit of holiday out of it. Just as well, as it is still unclear whether I achieved the purpose of my visit .
