The Thief Taker (The Thief Taker, #1)The Thief Taker by C.S. Quinn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I quite enjoyed this. Can't remember now who recommended it to me (Camille? Katelin?) but thanks! it is perhaps not something I would have gone out of my way to read. Mind, it made me think at first of a sort of Games-of-Thrones and then ... oh, dear, the Walking Dead...(is this a spoiler? :) ) the setting (Restoration London during the Plague) is a fascinating time of history and the author uses it very effectively. Suspension of disbelief does get stretched at times but overall it is an enjoyable read.
